A new office in Belgium
The NORRIQ Group opens a new office in Belgium. For this new location we choose for Waregem, the ideal base for serving the East and West parts of the Flemish market. In addition to the offices in Tremelo and Lummen, Waregem is the third office that we set up in Belgium. Since 22/01/2021 the new office is officially open to employees, but unfortunately without a spectacular party!
A new office in COVID-19 times
A third office in the West of Belgium was on the agenda for some time. Despite the fact that working from home became the 'new normal' last year, the investment to start an office at Waregem continues to be the right decision, according to Jurgen Broos, General Manager of NORRIQ Belgium: “NORRIQ has been serving customers on the Belgian market for over 20 years. We have developed an extensive clientele especially around the axis Antwerp-Brussels, Flemish Brabant and Limburg. But we also have a good presence in the East and West parts of Flanders. We believe that Waregem has the most strategic location to serve the entrepreneurial landscape in this region. ”
Striving for satisfied customers through employees
We opted for Waregem and specifically for the brand new residential and work project Waterfront. This project has a optimal economic location, within walking distance of the center of Waregem and close to the freeway and public transport. Easily accessible, in a lively neighborhood and with various facilities nearby. Right next to a soccer tadium (Zulte-Waregem) - ideal for our soccer fans.

Team expansion in West Flanders
The office has been accessible since October 1, 2020. Only for employees from the region. Luckily since in the course of 2020 the West team had already been expanded with several new colleagues. They started their NORRIQ adventure with working from home but thanks to a Microsoft PowerApp, a product that NORRIQ often delivers to customers, the NORRIQ team was able to easily reserve a place in our offices so that we always ensure a safe working environment.
“This new office provides a new opportunity for recruiting talent. Employees can work closer to home. A necessary step at a time when talent is scarce. With this new office, we are convinced that we stay one step ahead of the competition, especially since employees at NORRIQ are given every opportunity to develop themselves. ” according to Jurgen.
An official opening for customers, prospects and new neighbors will follow when possible. We look forward to celebrating our opening (when permitted) - at a safe distance of course.
