At NORRIQ, we team up with Resco to create real benefits for field workers. Recognized as Resco Partner of the Year in 2023, we’re committed to enhancing field service workers. Attending Resco Next 2025 in Valencia provided us with a great opportunity to strengthen our partnership. We focus on product innovation, share customer success stories, and apply the newest Resco tools to make things genuinely better for our clients. Our collaboration consistently proves its worth by simplifying and strengthening field operations for our customers.
Let’s dive into the exciting advancements from Resco Next 2025 and see how they’re designed to make our clients more efficient and reliable.
What’s New from Resco Next 2025:
1 | Gen. 2 Player: A New Era for Inspections and Service Checklists
Resco’s new Gen. 2 Player is a revamped mobile forms engine, offering faster load times and a sleek interface developed in React. With features like sliders, grouped questions, and table-style inputs, it makes inspections more intuitive, particularly on mobile. Plus, it integrates with the Microsoft Power Platform, letting field service teams share questionnaires with third-party users like contractors and customers.
2 | Enhanced Power Platform Integration with PCF Components
Resco’s PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) components are designed to enrich Power Platform applications. These include scheduling tools, data visualizations, and user-friendly controls, enabling our customers to create hybrid solutions that combine Power Apps with Resco’s expertise in field operations. It's important to note these components are for model-driven Power Apps and not Resco’s mobile apps.
3 | Resco AI Assistant
With the new AI Assistant, Resco adds smart support into its products. Whether you're setting up rules in Woodford or need help out in the field, the AI Assistant provides quick answers from Resco Docs, Wiki, and Blogs.
4 | Better Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Resco is improving application management with new App Lifecycle Management (ALM) features. Now, Woodford projects can link to Azure DevOps Git repositories, easing version control and team collaboration. While full pipeline automation isn’t available yet, this is a crucial step towards integrating Resco configurations into enterprise-grade CI/CD workflows.
