Bebat, committed to giving used batteries a new life, has launched an online platform in collaboration with NORRIQ to improve customer experience. Battery producers and importers are legally obligated to prevent, raise awareness of, collect and recycle used batteries. Bebat assumes these obligations on its members' behalf, reporting the number of batteries they place on the market through the new platform.
Bebat previously used an outdated internet application for customer declarations. This system was slow and did not integrate with other applications. Additionally, there was a need to renew the customer database and find a new accounting package. This prompted the search for a fully integrated web platform that combines CRM and ERP functionalities.
The new platform streamlines processes, enabling customers to easily submit their battery returns and access their declarations, invoices, and contracts. It also simplifies onboarding, allowing new companies to join Bebat quickly and seamlessly.

The platform significantly enhances efficiency in processing customer declarations. Because users sell more battery-containing products, they can now define those products directly in their online declarations and link the corresponding batteries. Member recruitment is also much faster. In the past, everything was done manually, and sometimes, registering a new member took weeks. Now, everything runs automatically through the platform, up to the signing of the agreement.
The online platform is also used to manage customer audits. Bebat can easily exchange data with external audit firms, and process those results faster. Extracting data for government reporting is now straightforward.

NORRIQ implemented a custom Power App built on the Power Platform (Microsoft Dataverse) for Bebat. The solution supports Bebat in streamlining participant management while ensuring seamless integration with Business Central (BC) for all types of invoicing.
Furthermore, NORRIQ facilitated seamless communication and data exchange between various parties, ensuring that information flows effortlessly into BC and the Power Apps.
On the ERP side of the project, NORRIQ implemented Microsoft Business Central, leveraging its finance, purchase, and sales modules to streamline Bebat's core business processes.
For over 25 years, Bebat has been giving new life to used batteries by collecting, sorting, and recycling them. The metals and valuable components are extracted and reused as raw materials. All other substances are properly processed.
Bebat is an environmental organisation with world-class collection results and, together with you, they are continuously looking to optimise the recycling process both in quantity and quality.
