For a company founded in 1928, success is built on a strong foundation. Boucherie, a Belgian market leader in brush manufacturing machinery, exemplifies this longevity. With around 90 employees relying on Navision daily, the system is the backbone of the company. When support for Navision 2006 was set to end, Boucherie saw an opportunity to evolve.
As Navision 2009 R2 approached its end-of-life, Boucherie turned to NORRIQ once again to continue its ERP journey. Since they had to transition to a new system anyway, they saw this as an opportunity to do more than just an upgrade. Boucherie integrated several long-awaited features from their wishlist to improve their workflow even further.
At the heart of Boucherie’s operations is its manufacturing accelerator, which manages production with extreme precision. Lisa Boucherie, representing the company’s fourth generation, explains:
"We manufacture nearly all parts in-house, and each component has an individual processing order. Navision allows us to track every step, ensuring that each piece reaches the right machine and operator for each production stage."
Time registration is also integrated into this process. Every machine functions as a separate project in Navision, making project management critical during an upgrade. Boucherie needs complete visibility into what has been completed, what remains, and which stage each part is in.

The necessary upgrade to NAV was an excellent opportunity for Boucherie to include the finance module for their accounting department. Previously, their accounting system was linked to Navision via an interface. The transition to NAV allows the entire team to work in the same environment. This unified system brings efficiency and consistency across departments.
Boucherie's customers are benefiting as well. With enhanced tracking of ongoing projects, they can detect potential issues or delays sooner. Given that Boucherie creates custom-built machines rather than standard models, maintaining clear visibility throughout production is essential for meeting delivery deadlines.

A Long-Term Partnership
Since 2006, Boucherie and NORRIQ have collaborated on numerous developments, enhancing efficiency and innovation.
Future-Proof
Boucherie took a major step forward by upgrading Navision to meet modern standards while preserving historical data. Next, Boucherie is preparing to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Boucherie has trusted NORRIQ as a technology partner since 2006, and the journey doesn’t stop here. Next, Boucherie will implement a graphical planner in their system. Having a visual overview will be incredibly valuable, especially during meetings, making planning and coordination even more efficient.
With NORRIQ’s expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, Boucherie is well-positioned for the future.
